Cheeky Garden Spider

I've been monitoring the growth of a garden spider, who occupies a particularly desirable location in my back yard where gnats like to congregate.
I've enjoyed observing this spider nearly double in size in the last week or so.
I believe it also has grown more than a bit habituated to my body moving around quite near to him.
The "stacked" image in the extra photo captured his legs as it surprised me by quickly running down its web at my upturned face.
The macro image on the screen made me nearly swallow my camera.
I decided to pack it in for the day.
