Fortnums to the rescue

It was difficult not to be caught in a sudden shower today. Holborn Viaduct was once the bridge over the River Fleet as it flowed into Wren's Fleet Canal.

We had lunch in a lovely new Italian restaurant near our flat, which reminded us so strongly of our local restaurants in Chianti when we had a holiday home there - quite a find!

Last night's camera club judge didn't like my images, but his criticisms were fair - a learning experience...
