...surrounding our village, as seen from the top of the hill...

We nipped up with a couple of little boxes to pick the last flourish of blackberries. I had something else in mind for today's widwed theme, but when I looked down the hill I decided to go with the view, complete with man's impact on the landscape:

the road, walls making field patterns, the reservoir and dam, our village, turbines, and Emley Moor in the distance... and in the far distance Barnsley!
