Waiting tables

Quick Wednesday shopping. Air fresh this morning but warmed up by midday.

My Readeasy student finally finished reading Jane Austen's Emma.  Not the most lively of Austen's oeuvre.  Next up Paul Gallico's The Snow Goose & The Small Miracle.  I haven't read that since I was a teenager. Moons and moons ago.
I'm switching off news at every opportunity.  It's all still bleak.
These tables caught my attention. Empty because tourist season come to an end or staffing an issue. 
I have noticed quite a few signs around asking for job applicants.
