Hints of autumn

My son has gone to London for a couple of days work.  The train that he'd booked wasn't running so he had to atch one an hour earlier, leaving the house at about 5.00am.

I went to Oswestry Old Racecourse withe birdwatching group, there were very few birds around though.

We were chatting to an elderly couple from America who were walking half of Offa's Dyke.  They said that they're enjoying it so muchthat they're coming back next yeart to do the other half.

There are signs of the changing colours of autumn and I liked the way the sun was shining on these branches.

This afternoon there was thunder,lightning and heavy rain but luckily we got our walk done first.
