Learning New Tricks

While it is quite common to see finches and tits grasp the bird feeder and grab the sunflower hearts with ease, robins typically try to fly alongside while trying to extract food.  This little robin seems to have learnt a new trick and was quite happy landing on the feeder.

It was a working day and after an early morning swim it was mainly analysing statistics for a forth coming peer review of the Council.  At least I managed my best time for some years to swim a mile (still way slower than I used to be but that is just the march of time).
