Some Godfathers are the business!
I met my mate Jon ( otherwise known as Trigger) in 1985, the day after Live Aid on a fortnight’s PGL trip to the south of France. We were fifteen, no romance but have stayed pals ever since. First as penpals, then at City University in London together and he was obvious choice as godfather for my first born F. Today has to be the ultimate confirmation I made the right choice.
Bussed down to London, Jon is the CEO of London Air Ambulance so a wee trip up to the top of the Royal London Hospital and a wee sit and pose in the helicopter. Best view in London! Unfortunately Covid prevented a trip up but not to worry. Lunch in a classy ‘Spoons then off they went to watch Spurs vs Marseille in the Champions League with pitch side seats.
What a day!
