On the train

Wendy’s first train journey! We went from St Erth to St Ives, for a very reasonable £8 return for the party. Wendy was delighted! The driver waved to her as the train drew in, and it tooted through the tunnels. We saw the seaside going past, and there were some more small people in the next seats.
Then we walked through to a craft fair where gin and tonic samples were pressed upon us (not Wendy) and on to a beach cafe for lunch. The surfer dudes were doing their stuff in the surf!
Then we did the whole thing again in reverse. An excellent day out!
