Augustusburg palace

We are now in Cologne. We visited Augustusburg palace and were astounded by the wealth of the original owner. He commissioned over twenty similar palaces but he died three years before this one was completed. This stair case is amazing and was built to impress guests.
Tonight we are sailing towards Amsterdam.
