May Day march, Wien

today was the May day march in Wien...a traditional socialist holiday...

so different from the UK, where, worker's rights exist, it seems, now only to be eroded for the benefit of the few...feed the rich indeed...

it's reassuring to see that not all have fallen for the bullshit which dribbles from the tongues of our politicians...that some still believe in an alternative form for society where the market remains subservient to the people and not the predatory beast worshipped by the modern political class, who, driven by some mad desire to appease it, would create a new dark age based upon the insanity of captialism and free market fundamentalism....

these, the same politicians who lovingly sacrifice the lives of the vulnerable and the poor...and, worst of all, they devour the possibilities and the hopes of the next generation...is it sane to attempt to satiate a mad god?


another thing that i really liked about this is that for this day the greeting is Freundschaft, friendship...i wonder what our leaders on the island think is so wrong with this...
