Bottlebrush

Ben got called in to work, even though he’s on holidays, so Jon and I dropped him off and then went to check out a kebab place in Coolum.

I’ve been hankering for a shawarma/ kebab for a while now and had researched if there were any shawarma stands on the Sunshine Coast. Thankfully there’s one really close by, and it wasn’t too bad actually. This native bottle brush tree was our view from our table.

Over in HK, our dear pastor and family have announced that they will be leaving HK soon. Feeling quite sad for our church there but totally understand what they need to do for their family.

There have been at least 15 (maybe more) families who’ve left either before us and after us. It’s happening … the mass exodus of expats :(. And local Hong Kongers as well, at least those who can and who have families overseas.
