Sunshine

I got stuck into more spring cleaning today, this time cleaning all the window frames and the cavities at the base of the ranch sliders, where an enormous amount of dust seems to accumulate.  Hubby had already cleaned the windows, thank goodness. I also polished the glass on the wardrobe doors to remove finger marks, gave our bedroom furniture a polish for the same reason, and cleaned the bar at the bottom of the sun blind on our terrace.  It doesn’t sound a lot but it felt like a good day’s work by the time I’d finished. Hubby meanwhile has been mixing his sourdough and preparing the loaves for baking tomorrow, as well as doing some weeding in the garden. 

While I was cleaning the ranch slider frame on the terrace, I took a photo of the sunny scene in front of me for today’s blip.

There are 1,653 new community cases today, and the seven-day rolling average is 1,595 compared to 2,023 last Thursday. The number of people in hospital is 254, including 7 in ICU. The seven-day rolling average increase in total deaths attributable to Covid-19 is 5 and 1,941 deaths have been confirmed as either directly attributed to Covid, or with Covid as a contributing factor.
