Long exposure

I was desperate to get out yesterday, even for an hour. So i took a trip a whole 1/2 mile to the seafront. here i got out of the car into my wheelchair to the scene above.
The sky was ok to start, the scene well pretty ordinary really, but i was here to use my D810 for the  first time, taking long exposure photos. 
This first one was a mere 8 seconds. The extra however, was 250 secs. Both photos were polarised.
Which one do you prefer?
