Happy Campers

Wednesday’s Blip on Tuesday (posted Thursday…) Tuesday’ Blip was logged on Wednesday. Internet here can be a bit slow…

Not everyone at our campsite has a tent, camper or motorhome. The site has a number of basic sleeping huts for 4 or 5 people. Just beds and possibly a fridge, cooking is done outside using a bbq or gas cooker.

This occupant was spotted Monday swimming in the Loch. You couldn’t miss her with the neon pink float and matching swim hat! When I first saw her in the water I thought Nessie was showing her more feminine side…

We took a drive up the eastern side of the Loch today as far as Inverness but didn’t stop. We returned via the country route where we spotted a red squirrel, a couple of stags (in a deer park) and a few Red Kites. Later in the afternoon two military jets flew down the Loch. Very loud and very low. Too quick to get a photo.
