ABRAHAMSKRAAL

Eight years ago Andrew and Shanni were married at Abrahamskraal, a lovely farm homestead surrounded by the vast plains of the Karoo. Hestie and Johan have since created a wedding venue that retains the rustic charm of the old farm buildings, yet not losing the feeling of being part of the wide open veld with distant blue mountains.
We had a picnic tea on the veranda and looked at the photos of that special day. I particularly remember the sunset. Many of the guests had not experienced a sunset in the vastness of the Karoo before and were well rewarded for travelling to this remote spot.
