Queen Elizabeth II

I had the pleasure of seeing her in Boston Massachusetts, July 11th, 1976. She and Prince Philip were visiting for our Bicentennial and were out on the balcony at the Old State House.

Born in the Roaring Twenties, such a long life through good time and bad. May she rest in peace. My grandmother loved her and passed that love on to me. Queen Elizabeth II was charming, a woman of wit and wisdom.

I have to thank our friend DollyDoug for showering me with tea tins with her photos featured and lovely things from recent The Jubilee. I cherish them, she was the last of her kind.
