An evening in Portsmouth

A highly anticipated evening in Portsmouth. Tickets to Joe Lycett for Will’s April birthday present and the day before mine. And in between Portsmouth train station and the theatre was a sushi restaurant.

We got there without issue, ordered some gorgeous looking food. Received Queen news with a note of an important moment passing. Was just finishing our gorgeous tasting food when some fellow diners popped back to say the show was cancelled. Because of the Queen. It was a bigger surprise than her passing tbh.

We finished our dinner and caught three trains home. The good news is the sushi was just lovely and we can come back for the rescheduled show (it had better be rescheduled!)
