Happy and Glorious

So today the sun set on the second Elizabethan era. Whatever your views on Monarchy, I think we’ve lost a most exceptional head of state and a remarkable human being. I found myself unexpectedly emotional on hearing the news, perhaps because The Queen was only a little older than my mum and I kind of expected them both to reach their centuries. RIP Ma’am.
