Heart of Oak

Tonight I went to a service for a beautiful lady who had passed away this week aged 92, while at the service word filtered through that Queen Elizabeth had passed away aged 96.

My Blip is just one section of the sculpture 'Heart of Oak' by Noel Scullion that is located in Kildare Town. It is a representation of a split acorn from which another oak will eventually grow, it's the a 2 part sculpture and the opposite section is a hollowed out mirror image.

Goodbye to Stella and the Queen, both lovely ladies whose light lives on forever in those they have left behind.
