We arrived at the farm right around 7:40 pm lax night. Our BIL made dinner while we unpacked the car. It felt so peaceful being back in WV. It misted rain early this morning but hubby and our BIL were able to cut the grass and take a ride around the ridges in the afternoon. My sister and I had a lazy morning. We watched the large variety and number of birds at the feeders and enjoyed a walk around her beautiful gardens. Thought I’d share this tuber begonia. Then we all visited our friends around the bend, taking a few treats that are always much appreciated. We came home and read and enjoyed the perfect evening weather. The meatloaf was already cooked and the sides were easy so we had even more time to savor the first day. Sure hope you found that same peace today. Thanks for the visit. I may have to look at your journals if we go to town or when we return to MD. We have only one bar on our cell service and that is only when we are up in our second floor bedroom. Thanks for the visit. Stay safe. “I felt my lungs inflate with the onrush of scenery — air, mountains, trees, people. I thought, ‘This is what it is to be happy.’” - Sylvia Plath
