Grate

On a recent job exit interview form under "2. Resources available/working conditions/equipment available" I wrote "If we don’t have it, improvise."

The grate in the Rayburn doesn't last forever - last time it cracked and broke beyond use I found an old open fire grate in a scrapyard and cut it to fit.  No such luck now.

So I found a piece of 5mm steel at a recycling centre and had a go.

I don't know how long it'll last, but it should see out the season.
