I'm certainly not a royalist/monarchist or whatever the correct term is.

Unlike her children and grandchildren, (some of them at least), she took her responsibilities and duties seriously, without public complaint. (She must have been biting her tongue at some of the antics her family have got up to over the years and the embarrassment they caused). And so, I respected her.

Now that she's gone, it's going to be interesting to see how long the monarchy remains both in Canada and many other Commonwealth countries.

And a very big thankyou for all the comments, hearts, and stars on yesterdays birthday blip, it really does mean a lot.

Ah well...
