Rest in Peace Ma’am

Today was a monumental day for the British constitution, and national history.
After a dignified and faultless 70 year reign, Her Majesty passed away aged 96, whilst at Balmoral Castle.
Irrespective of anyones views on the monarchy, I really do hope that everyone will reflect with love and respect for this incredible lady, who dedicated her entire life to the service of her country having had the role foisted upon her .
We were in London for the day, so were able to walk to the palace to pay our respects at the gates for a while.
It was a somber moment, but so pleased that we were able to attend.
