A sad day

After a wet walk at the beach in the morning we spent most of the rest of the day watching the news from Balmoral.
I’m no royalist but felt surprisingly emotional when we heard that the Queen had died. She’s been the glue that had held this country together and one can only admire her dedication and service to our country. RIP.
