All's Well That Ends Well
A trip to Stratford-Upon-Avon today to see a play at the RSC Theatre, it has been a good few years since I was last there.
All's Well That Ends Well is not the most cheeriest of plays. Unrequited love, the pursuit of that love, duplicity in sleeping together and forcing a marriage, plus the public shaming of a fool. But I enjoyed it nevertheless.
A sad though, as when I arrived home it was announced that the Queen had passed away. It really is the end of an era, the likes of which we will probably never see again. The Queen was an amazing woman and has been the only thing stable in this country for years, but particularly the last few turbulent years. It seems strange saying God Saving the King now.
Today I am thankful for:
1. The service of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
2. A good day in Stratford-Upon-Avon
