A day with Claire

We decided to go for a walk around East Linton but got lost about 15 minutes after setting off. A bit of back-tracking got us back on track, but then we got lost again trying to find a way of crossing the railway. So we gave up, went back to the car and drove to North Berwick for lunch.

The main thing, though, was that it was my first walk on rough-ish ground since my broken ankle and it seemed to be OK. And it was obviously great to spend a day with Claire, she's off to Indonesia next week, followed by Nepal.

And then when we got back home it was - of course - all about the Queen.
