Rosa del lago
We drove for a few minutes to Pontecosi and had a gentle wander by the side of the lake as we turned a corner we approached a painting group who were busy replicating the two bridges in watercolour. (shown in extras) The ancient humpback bridge was the walk that villagers took to the little chapel ‘Lady of Grace.’ It was such a picturesque scene - dappled in sunlight - a day when you are so grateful to be alive. All along the shore line, roses had been planted so this was my subject for Flower Friday. A red rose seemed appropriate. Thank you BikerBear for hosting
