SEA AND SKY

Always a good place to be in an uncertain world. There was a lot of haze, and soon afterwards it all clouded over and became cooler and a bit misty. I thought quite a bit about my Mum and the memories she would have had, especially of some occasions when my father had to meet the Queen in the course of his work. I thought how sad she'd feel, but then remembered how she could surprise us with her pragmatism.

It was very quiet in the places I went to today, although now at 7pm there seems to be a lot of traffic rushing past.
