Home Made Gable

After erecting the big awning Marlane thought it would be good to have a gable end on the one side. It would stop the slanting rain coming in, but also give some privacy.
Good idea? of course it was, so off she went, ordered the thick, waterproof material. Got a huge bit of cardboard (the box the awning kit came in) to make a template. She marked and cut the material and out came the sewing machine.
She also attached velcro straps and the result you see above. Brilliant and really well made. She never fails to amaze me with her ingenuity.
