Soggy forager

A nice busy day. A meeting first thing with a local artist re our Christmas collaboration. All systems are now go on that one. Then it was making more soap sponges (the popular Rosemary, Lemongrass and Juniper Berry fragrance blend) - I've got a really efficient, not to mention less messy, system now for making them.

This afternoon it was admin, packaging and getting ready for the Farmer's Market in Balerno tomorrow. Thankfully its still going ahead but with a 1-minute silence at 11am. Apparently, it'll be a nice sunny morning too!

Sadly, next weekends market has been cancelled, along with many others. Seemingly with little thought about the small businesses who count on the income from these events especially in these very difficult economic times. There were several traders who came up from England ready for this weekend's Food Festival at Dalkeith Country Park only to be told it was being cancelled :(
