Sad day

The first day without the Queen. There have been many tears throughout the day.

HtP felt that we should do something special to mark the Queen’s passing so we walked to the cathedral. It was open and their were condolence books to sign and beautiful music playing. While I cried we sat in the chapel in the extra.

We stopped at a small deli on the way home and had a lovely evening meal of selected goodies.

The vase and flowers are a gift for HtP.
