Asparagus Fern.

Camera Club friend joined me at the allotments for a wander to spot anything worth photographing.   She brought along a Lensbaby Edge lens for me to play with.   Got the hang of it but it needs more specific locations and subjects to bring out its best effects.  These wet asparagus berries were the best of my experiments - there is a horizontal plane of focus running through the middle in case that needs explaining!  I have seen some interesting examples of work using these lenses but I think I am in no particular rush to buy one.  My better camera has focus peaking but this one doesn't.  That would help a little bit but I could see the line of focus even with this camera - I think it's more about finding the right kind of image to bring out the best in this but if it needs explaining then it hasn't done its job very well.
