Old Boathouse, Loch Venachar

A fine walk around Loch Venachar and Loch Drunkie with old friends Dave and Rosy. Despite a few squally showers, the weather was wonderful and at last it seemed that spring had arrived. At one time the water of the loch emulated the deep blue of the seas we had experienced last week in Cyprus. Another occasion on which one felt that Scotland has such beauty to offer.
This is the old boathouse near where the tarmac road is left and the well constructed cycle route goes off into the woodland by the loch.
