view from the Forca Reale

we drove over to Tuchan today to visit the 'Jones' winery. On the way we diverted up the 'Forca Reale' , a steep windy road going up a rocky promontory which has an Ermitage up the top (sadly locked). The views were great but show how dry the area is now. We saw some areas where there had been fairly extensive forest fires. Had a tasting at the winery and ended up buying lots. I particularly liked their Carignan . Hope we don't end up with too much to bring home !
