Eat Up

Everyone's consuming calories as quickly and efficiently as they can. Our walkways are littered with pine cone remains. The squirrels sit high up in the trees eating the tender inner portions of the cones and dropping the rest to flutter down to earth like dirty snowflakes. There are still a wealth of flowers blooming, making the hummingbirds happy I'm sure. I've been keeping their feeder clean and full and we see them often.  A nice break from visiting flowers I guess.
