Deflated

This sort of sums things up at the moment.

Lovely bright sunshine but with an icy, bitter, biting wind. Feeling cheery and happy, but with underlying sadness, knowing my sister is suffering terribly after the sudden and unexpected death of her partner last weekend. There is nothing anyone can do to make things better for her, one of our other sisters is staying with her and the rest of us are at the end of emails or telephone calls. A dreadfully sad time for her after 12 years together.
