Church on Corfu ...

... well over an hour's drive from our hotel on a road that I suspect would look straight on a map, but which consisted of a continuous series of curves, one after another after another after another--you get the point  :)

At the end we reached an extensive set of salt pans stretching beyond the church--we walked perhaps forty minutes out on them, and then back to have our picnic lunch in the sheltered area at an education center (we were told) which was closed.  Then back to our vehicles (we were comfortably in the back seat of a small car--the others in a van), to return to our hotel, again continuous curve after curve after curve.  Another not particularly exciting day.      Again I'm not sure that the mark on the map is accurate.
