Loch Awe

Although painful, it was great to have broken the back of our journey yesterday. Starting the day with some shopping in Penrith (a hidden gem). We then carried on up to Helensburgh and visited The Hill House before stocking up at Morrisons.

For the first time in memory it wasn’t raining over the Rest and Be Thankful and the whole drive up the lochs was stunning. Now installed at Loch Awe. This is our private ‘beach’.
