Out and About

Ann went off to the Fish Pass this morning.  This is an under river walkway showing a man made channel to enable fish to travel through the Diglis locks and weir.  It's not built as an observation attraction, and it's hit and miss if you see any fish, but it opens up for the public every now and then, and it helps the river's fish population. 

I arranged to see Ann, after her adventures, at Greyfriars.  I arrived before her and spent some time taking photos in the garden.  This particular one struck me as a bit strange, a fish by the steps dividing the garden from the cafe.  There is no water in the garden, save for a small fountain in one corner, and certainly no fish....a bit silly mayhap, suitable for today's Silly Saturday. 

Anyway we met up and had a drink at the cafe.

After lunch we walked back to Cafe Bolero to check out their "Italian Coffee".  Unanimous decision was Very Nice!
