Not convinced it is better to travel hopefully than to arrive, not that we were travelling hopefully. 

Thanks to the planned closure of M6 southbound between J33 and J32, it took our coach 4 hrs and 15 mins to travel the 60 or so miles from Tebay services to our hotel in Preston. However at least we arrived and dinner was waiting for us and we enjoyed a lovely sunset on routes. Other people travelling south seem to have been even more adversely affected so could have been worse.

Less travelling tomorrow - a shortish drive to Morecombe where we will have some free time before getting the ferry from Heysham to the Isle of Man.
