SHE LOVES BANANAS

Made an early start so I could finish everything that needed doing in preparation for Becky, Mike and Astrid's arrival.  They arrived mid afternoon after a 350 mile drive.

I had a box of toys ready for Astrid and she played happily for ages.  Later on she had some snacks including a couple of bananas.  She just loves bananas and got really excited just at the sight of one being peeled. 

Mike went to the chippy this evening and we all enjoyed delicious fish and chips for tea.  Then we just had a quiet evening.  Took ages for Astrid to settle for the night but thats not unexpected being in a different bedroom in a travel cot.  Im sure she will sleep through the night though - she usually does.

Early start tomorrow when we will all head off for The Great North Run.  Becky, Astrid and me will be in South Shields to see the runners finish.  Fingers crossed for fine weather. It has rained all day today.

Steps today - 7,277  ( not bad considering I haven't left the house all day )
