Calgary Beach Art, Mull

This morning we spent time on a beautiful, empty, beach and braved the water to swim again. Yoga afterwards warmed us up before walking along a coastal path where we think we saw 2 white tailed eagles (extra is a buzzard). On the exciting coastal route back to Salen where we are staying, there were 4 more in total. All but one of the chicks of these magnificent birds have been killed by bird flu, only one youngster has survived apparently. Still no otters popped up to say hello. Perhaps tomorrow as we leave via another coastal route to return to Edinburgh eventually.

We have just had a very special meal with Treshnish and her husband and know a lot more about the tourist and farming industries on Mull, very interesting and a very hard way to earn a living! I couldn’t do it. Great to meet up.
