how do you measure success?
Today was Oxfam Tie Day at school. The students swap their school ties for a tie of their choosing/making for a donation to Oxfam. I'm always pretty anxious before the event, have I forgotten anything? Will the kids enter the spirit of the thing?
Well, I needn't have worried, the creativity on show was fab - ties made from paper clips, flowers, Lego, teabags, and my personal favourite, one made from buttons in the shape of the word SYRIA. Nearly £500 raised to help Oxfam's urgent help for the Syrian people. Now, after a day of rushing around, a glass of wine and a sit down is definitely in order.
