Beautiful Spring Morning

I went for a walk to the lake and back, as I could see that the lake was nice and calm.  I then went to church.  No fresh flowers today.  The hymn was Blessed Assurance.  I didn't stay for a cuppa.  Quite warm, +14C.

Charles III is proclaimed King by the NZ Government.  A historic ceremony marked the accession of the new king, as a 21 gun salute rang out.  The Cabinet will discuss on Monday when we will have a public holiday and memorial service to mourn the passing of the Queen. 

Tomorrow we will walk down the true right of the Clutha River, starting at Albert Town.  Should be another nice day.
