A Goodbye

Yesterday, we all heard the heartbreaking and not totally unexpected news that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has passed away. She's been such a mainstay of the United Kingdom and for the Commonwealth over the 70 years of her reign. For many of us, Queen Elizabeth II is the only queen we've known. She's been on the throne for so long it felt like she'd never die, that she'd be queen forever. She has been like a mother, a grandmother, to the nation. With deep sadness, her reign came to an end and now we have a new king... King Charles III.
