Regal

A low-key sort of day, with an early morning trip to Oundle followed by a final trip to Waitrose before we head off at the weekend. I picked Ben up and stopped for coffee and to admire their magnificent sunflowers, which are a least twice the size of ours even though they were all grown from the same seed.

I was planning to do some work in the afternoon but found it difficult to focus. More thundery showers meant that I didn't get out for a walk, so this was my only photograph - the beautiful Flower-of-an-hour which has a suitably regal centre.
