Blue raindrop on daisy

An odd kind of a day - productive (housework, washing and gardening) but with a constant underlying feel of just going through the motions.  Probably too much TV watching......I'm becoming saturated in grief for the loss of the Queen and the loss of stability that [feels as though] brings.  I'm old enough now to know that all things - good and bad - will pass so I know we just have to get on with life........a new normal will evolve and it will be good.

These feelings were amplified somewhat though with the sad news of the loss of 5 lives in Kaikoura - a photography group who had gone out on a boat trip to photograph birds.  Absolutely tragic.
