Passerelle du Bionnassay

Another fabulous day. 
Did the guide thing and took an obtuse way through wonderful ancient woodland up to Bellevue and then around to the Bionnassay torrent and its iconic little bridge. 
Mixed emotions, wonderful to be here again with a good friend. Sad to think ai may well never (commercially) guide this route again. Terrifying to see how far back the glacier has retreated in just two years.

Finished the day with a swim in the Lake at Passy, so much warmer than dipping our toes in the glacial River had been!
