Rodents rule

Hopeful...

... in Dulwich Park. We didn't have any snacks.

A lazy morning with pancakes for late breakfast. We headed out for a walk to Dulwich and enjoyed a coffee while figuring out the best route home in time for S's train. We dashed onto the P13 bus thanks to S's sprint to the bus stop – heroic considering her blistered toe (this was the reason we were taking the bus rather than walking back).

I accompanied S to King's Cross and after I saw her safe on the train, I peeked in Paperchase and Oliver Bonas, mentally buying (rather than actually buying) a set of lovely pens in the former. I was sad to see the café in Fortnum & Mason's is no more – they had the best tea. At Brunswick Square, I found a second-hand bookshop where I mentally bought a bookcase-worth of books. I had fun in an oriental supermarket looking at all the possible purchases. I cam away with sweet potato noodles, some stir-fry cooking sauces, and sushi ginger (very hot!)

We treated ourselves to the third episode of The Rings of Power. As a massive Tolkien fan, I was highly sceptical about the Amazon enterprise, but hats off to the production behind it, I'm hooked. This is problematic as I don't have Prime. Fred has a free month's worth so we're using that for now.
