To Fife.
Bowhouse Market - bit quieter than usual but the mutt had great adventures in the dog creche. Meat, giant sausage rolls, cakes, cheese, bread and cannoli were all purchased.
Yet there was a delightful surprise just up the road near Pittenweem, lunch at Ovenstone 109 eatooterie. Their kitchen is pictured top right. They have tables inside and out, we chose out and baked in the sunshine. This place basically does only two things, they brew stunning beers and offer a selection of absolutely superb burgers. That's it. Do it well and they will come. You are basically dining in the grounds of a John Deere factory beside a wee lake but well worth it for a beer and burger. (And it is very well priced).
Saw my first ever leaf cutter bee.
Back home to hours of torrential rain.
